LAWGEAR shall not be held liable for any consequential damages resulting from the use of, or the way in which you may navigate this site. This also extends to the performance of material contained on this site or your inability to use or navigate this site. Whether or not LAWGEAR have advised or notified you of such possible dangers or conditions.

All goods are subject to availability and conditions of sale, in the case of a typographical error on our site or price list,  LAWGEAR reserves the right to correct it, modify make changes cancel or refuse any or all such orders without any prior notice to you, if this site is found to be in error or a product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price or wrongly represented via text, script, graphics or in photographic format etc we reserve the right to correct it also.

LAWGEAR have inserted for your convenience links to third party websites operated by other entitles, such material is assembled in good faith.

LAWGEAR does not control any such information or content supplied on any such third party websites via this website even if the third party is affiliated with LAWGEAR or not. If at any time you decide to leave our site and visit any such linked sites you do so at your own risk.

It is the responsibility of each user whilst visiting external links to refer to that external websites terms and conditions of use and to make their own decisions about the accuracy, currency, reliability and completeness of information contained on the linked sites. Whilst the department currently has no information about the presence of such dangers on third party sites, you should take the necessary precautions to protect yourself and your system from viruses, worms, Trojan horses, and any other items of a destructive nature whilst visiting those sites.

Title of Goods

All goods shall remain the sole and absolute legal property of LAWGEAR until such time that all the goods are paid for in full by the (buyer) the property in and title to the goods shall not pass from  LAWGEAR until such time the above conditions have occurred.

We also reserve the right to recover any costs resulting in the pursuant or recovery of any and all outstanding goods invoiced or not invoiced to the (buyer) whilst in an outstanding state.

Whilst all care and accuracy is taken in processing your order any goods received in error e.g. wrongfully supplied must be returned unopened in original packing accompanied by a copy of your invoice, any such goods found to be in error will not incur handling or freight costs into our store please contact our customer service department to arrange return of any such goods.

Any goods found to be in error are deemed the property of LAWGEAR the property in and title to the goods shall not pass from LAWGEAR whilst in error. We also reserve the right to recover any costs resulting in the pursuant or recovery of any and all outstanding goods invoiced or not invoiced to the (buyer) whilst in an outstanding state in error.

Risk of Goods

The risk in the goods shall pass from LAWGEAR to the (buyer) at the time of delivery regardless of the payment status for the goods to LAWGEAR.

Payment

All goods are subject to payment before leaving our warehouse in the case of personal or business cheques or money orders all funds are subject to clearance before goods are dispatched, for all other payments electronic or branch transfers.

For all electronic or branch transfers, payments can be made via our nominated bank account. All other payments can be posted to LAWGEAR, PO Box 5802 West Bundaberg QLD 4670. All payments will be processed during normal office hours.

A 3% surcharge is applicable at time of payment for all print order forms or telephone / fax orders with credit card payment option selected. Call (07) 4151 7203 to make credit card payments over the phone during normal office hours.

If paying via cheque/money order or direct deposit transactions please print out and fax the order form on completion of your order to LAWGEAR on (07) 4151 7518. Or post a copy of your form and payments to LAWGEAR, PO Box 5802 West Bundaberg QLD 4670.

To make a payment over the phone via eWAY's automated secure phone service please follow the below instructions: 

1) Add your items to the basket and go through the checkout process. Once you arrive at the payment options page select print order form and print a copy of your order for your records.

2) Call (02) 9045 9210 or 1800 021 548 

3) Enter Biller ID:  247502 

4) Enter Reference Number: Your Order ID 

5) Enter the amount: $XX.XX 

6) Enter your credit card details

7) We will receive a receipt from eWAY in relation to your payment and will process your order in a timely manner. If we have any queries or delays we will immediately contact you via email or telephone according to the details you supplied during checkout.

Restricted & Prohibited Items

Any purchases containing restricted or prohibited items will not be processed until the relevant documentation has been obtained. For further information on these requirements within your state or territory please contact your local police or weapons licensing branch.

Note: Any purchases made for restricted or prohibited items where the relevant documentation cannot be provided will incur a $20.00 administration fee. 

Shipping

All goods leave our warehouse in good condition and no claims can be recognized from damage resulting from atmospheric, climactic or other conditions beyond our control. Delivery of all goods will occur when goods have passed hands by us to the respective chosen carriers or transport authorities for delivery to the nominated (buyer). Our responsibility ceases on obtaining their receipt. Do not accept or open any goods if damage has occured during transit. All claims for missing or damaged goods must be filed with the respective carrier or transport authority concerned.

We offer prompt Australia wide shipping to all customers. All orders despatched travel via Australia Post standard, express or signature on delivery postage services. We also offer a road freight courier satchel service to selected locations. If you select this option and your delivery location is not within the Satchel service areas we will automatically downgrade your package to an Australia Post service. No additional coverage (insurance) is taken out on your parcel in this case. We recommend selecting signature on delivery or road courier postage services. We also recommend extra cover (insurance) be taken out on all parcels to minimise any loss which may be caused from the non delivery of parcels. Please contact us during business hours for a quote on extra cover required for your parcel on (07) 4151 7203 or 0401 860 446.

If your parcel is lost during transit and you have not obtained extra cover (insurance) or road courier post services we cannot guarantee the recovery or reimbursement of your package. Whilst every effort is provided by LAWGEAR to lodge an investigation with Australia Post and provide all required documentation, Australia post may not take responsibility for goods not delivered if extra cover (insurance) has not been taken out on the parcel in question. In the case that a road freight courier service has been chosen at checkout we will provide all relevant documentation and lodge an investigation on your behalf.

If you have selected Road Courier services and request the package to be left at the delivery location without obtaining a signature, We cannot guarantee the recovery or reimbursement of your package if it is removed from the premises before your receipt of it. LAWGEAR will provide every effort to lodge an investigation on your behalf with the Courier company. The chosen courier service may not take responsibilty for goods lost after delivery has been carried out.

Generally all in stock orders ship within 24-48 hours of placing an order, items not in stock generally take from 6-10 business days to ship. In the event of any awaiting back orders you will be given the option to ship your current order or await any back orders before your order is shipped. You also have the option of a full refund to the value of your purchase price including freight charges if applied. "NOTE" combined shipping will only incur one shipping charge. In the case that all on hand goods are dispatched the remaining backordered goods may be downgraded and sent via Australia Post Standard Services or Road Courier services. No extra coverage (insurance) will be taken out on the delivery of these parcels unless an arrangement has been agreed upon for the secondary parcel between the customer (buyer) and LAWGEAR.

LAWGEAR will not accept or open any goods if damage has occurred during returned shipping transit. All claims for missing or damaged goods on return to our store must be filed directly by the customer with the respective carrier or transport authority concerned.

A reshipping fee will be charged for all goods requiring re-delivery to the customer (buyer) where the customer (buyer) has ordered and received the incorrect goods. It is recommended to take out extra cover (insurance) on all parcels sent to LAWGEAR to avoid the loss of any parcel not delivered to LAWGEARLAWGEAR is unable to take responsibility for any parcels not received and no reimbursement or replacement can be authorised.

Presale Goods

LAWGEAR are unable to provide refunds on presale or special ordered goods. No cancellations can be accepted on presale goods. This is due to the special ordering process which is undertaken by LAWGEAR on behalf of the customer.

Warranty & Refund

All products sold in our store are covered under each individual manufacturers warranty against faulty workmanship or defects. All warranty claims found to have faulty workmanship or defects will be repaired replaced or credited (with the same dollar value & model). Misused or improperly cared for goods will not be accepted thus voiding warranty. All products returned under warranty are subject to assessment and if found to be in working order may be subject to a servicing fee of $20.00 at the discretion of LAWGEAR. All customers will be notified as to the outcome of their individual claim before any further action is undertaken on our behalf. All goods must be returned via prepaid registered or express postal services within the manufaturers allocated warranty period. LAWGEAR are unable to reimburse for any shipping costs.

"NOTE" All return items are subject to assessment by LAWGEAR, If at any time such goods are found to have faulty workmanship or defects LAWGEAR will process the warranty claim on your behalf. Please contact our customer service centre for available warranty periods on items sold within our store.

You are also entitled to return your goods and ask for a refund exchange or repair if the goods you purchased.

  • Fails to meet the specification advertised for them or is not the same as the description provided by the salesperson or advertisement.
  • Have a fault that you could not have known about at the time of purchase.
  • Are not the same as the description provided by the salesperson or advertisement.
  • Does not match the sample you were shown at time of purchase and / or
  • Does not do the job as you were led to believe.

The above conditions Marked* are only valid (within a reasonable time period) Remember: you can’t ask for a cash refund if you did not pay cash and you must also supply proof of purchase by way of invoice.

All goods should be returned prepaid freight as LAWGEAR are unable to reimburse for any shipping costs of any such goods. All warranties do not cover the abuse, misuse, alteration, unauthorised or unreasonable use, accessories, imprinting, colour finishes and the sharpening of tools.

In the case that a customer (buyer) returns goods for a replacement, It is the responsibilty of the customer (buyer) to send the goods via prepaid post. A reshipping fee will be charged for all goods requiring re-delivery to the customer (buyer) where the customer (buyer) has ordered and received the incorrect goods. It is recommended to take out extra cover (insurance) on all parcels sent to LAWGEAR to avoid the loss of any parcel not delivered to LAWGEARLAWGEAR is unable to take responsibility for any parcels not received and no reimbursement or replacement can be authorised.

Returns

  • All goods returned are subject to assessment by LAWGEAR and must be returned within a reasonable time period.
  • All items must be new, unused in original and undamaged packaging.
  • All goods are to be returned via prepaid registered or express postal services.

We will issue a full value credit note or refund for all goods returned as described above. This is at the discretion of LAWGEAR. We do not charge a restocking fee

Please note however you MUST contact our customer service centre during normal office hours to request a RAN return authorization number.

Download and complete a product return form from our FAQ section and attach a copy of your original invoice with your returned goods. No goods will be accepted for credit or refund without these items unless by prior arrangement with LAWGEAR.

LAWGEAR are unable to reimburse for any shipping costs. All returns are not covered for abuse, misuse, alteration, unauthorised or unreasonable use of such goods.
